Maruti Alto 800 VS Hyundai Eon

Maruti has unvelied most anticipated car Alto 800 in Indian Auto Market on 16th October 2012. Old Maruti Alto has been the best selling car in India. The closest competitor of New Alto 800 was and the Hyundai Eon which has been successful in India due to its trendy style. Let's compare both these small cars and try to figure out which one is best.

Maruti Alto 800

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is powered by 796CC 3-cylinder petrol engine which generate maximum power of 47.5 bhp at 6000 rpm and 69nm of torque at 3500 rpm. Maruti Suzuki engineers have made lots of changes to its hardware of F8D engine. The company claimed its mileage 22.7 kmpl on petrol. It also has CNG kit which powered Alto 800 a mileage of 30.46 kmpl as per ARAI.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is now much better than old Alto because it has 80-profile tyres, Anti-Braking System, iCats Immobilizer, Driver side airbag and other safety and handling feature which makes it more safest and more convenient small cars by Maruti India.

Hyundai EON

Hyundai EON is supported to 814cc 3 cylinder petrol which will develop maximum power of approximately 55 bhp and maximum torque of 76.5 nm. Hyundai Eon is available in five attractive shades like white, red, black, silver and grey. It is launched in six sizzling variants - D-Lite, Era, Magna, D-Lite (O), Magna (O) and Sportz. Top Hyundai Eon (Sportz) model features power steering, air conditioner, power windows, central locking, music system and one airbag.

Price starting from Rs. 2.75 lakhs to Rs. 3.75 Lakh.

This is a new Maruti car which is recently launched in India and this is the new version of previous alto. The interior design of Maruti Alto 800 is much better than previous alto.
